The hydrocyclone lining is a crucial component of the Hydrocyclone. Its primary function is to improve the wear resistance of the hydrocyclone and extend the service life of the equipment. The following is a detailed introduction to the hydroCyclone lining:
Safety Operating Procedures
· Pre-operation Inspection
· Check the hydrocyclone and housing lining for any loose particles. If access is required, power off the feed pump.
· Inspect and remove debris from the feed pipe, discharge pipe, and underflow box to ensure unobstructed flow.
· Check that the unit is securely installed, that all connecting bolts are complete and tightened, and that all seals are properly sealed.
· Operators must wear protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and a dust mask.
· Operation
· The pressure on the hydrocyclone feed manifold must not exceed 0.3 MPa. Do not use the hydrocyclone valve to control flow; the feed valve must be fully open.
· Regularly monitor the hydrocyclone liquid level, rotate Hydrocyclones regularly, and check the lining for integrity to prevent damage to the equipment. · Check the hydrocyclone underflow and overflow outlets regularly. If overflow is reduced or absent, determine whether the hydrocyclone overflow pipe is underpressured or severely worn. If necessary, shut down the machine for inspection.
· During operation, ensure the hydrocyclone pressure is stable, the feed pump current changes smoothly, and the incoming feed tank level is stable; it should not be too low.
· During hydrocyclone operation or equipment maintenance, avoid striking or bumping the high-Alumina ceramic wear-resistant lining to avoid damage.
· Stop and Check
· After the hydrocyclone feed pump stops feeding, check the underflow outlet and piping for blockage.
· Recheck the hydrocyclone and tank linings for loose lining and the cast stone in the auxiliary pipeline chute for loose or blocked cast stone.
