High Purity and Low Contamination: Some high-end alumina specialty ceramic-lined pipes are made of 99.99% high-purity Alumina ceramic, which can control the iron content of the wafer to less than 5ppm and the metal ion contamination rate to below 0.1ppm, meeting the needs of industries with extremely high purity requirements, such as semiconductors.

Excellent Wear Resistance: Alumina ceramic-lined pipes have extremely high hardness and wear resistance that is over 10 times that of high-chromium wear-resistant cast iron alloy pipes. They effectively resist erosion and wear from materials, extending the service life of the pipe.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance: They can withstand corrosion from a variety of strong acids and bases, such as 98% concentrated sulfuric acid immersion for 5 years with no leakage and 40% hydrofluoric acid corrosion for 26 months with only minor wear. They are suitable for conveying acidic and alkaline media in industries such as chemical industry. High-Temperature Resistance and Thermal Stability: It maintains structural stability at temperatures up to 1600°C, with a thermal expansion coefficient perfectly matched to silicon-based materials. For example, the corundum tubes used in TSMC's wafer diffusion furnaces have maintained continuous operation at 1300°C in a hydrogen atmosphere for five years without deformation.

Smooth Inner Surface and Low Friction Resistance: The inner wall of the lined tube is smooth and has low surface roughness, ensuring smoother material conveying, reducing material adhesion and accumulation within the pipe, lowering conveying resistance, and saving energy.

Manufacturing Process: Common manufacturing processes include self-propagating high-temperature clutch synthesis, such as the thermite-centrifugal method for producing alumina-lined Ceramic pipes. This method utilizes the high temperatures generated by the reaction's own heat to melt the reaction products, which then separate under centrifugal force to form the alumina-lined Ceramic Pipes. This method offers low energy consumption and requires fewer steps.

Applications:

Semiconductor Industry: Used in wafer diffusion furnaces and etching equipment, it prevents chip cracking caused by thermal stress, thereby increasing equipment life and chip production yield. Chemical Industry: Can be used to transport strong acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid, as well as strong alkaline media such as alkali and salt, to prevent pipeline corrosion.

Power Industry: Suitable for applications such as pulverized coal conveying pipes and ash handling pipes, it resists fly ash abrasion, effectively extending pipeline service life and reducing maintenance costs.

Mining Industry: Suitable for tailings conveying pipes and cyclone feed pipes, resisting impact abrasion from quartz sand and iron ore.

Metallurgical Industry: Suitable for blast furnace coal injection pipes and sintering dust removal pipes, offering both high-temperature oxidation resistance and resistance to particle erosion.
