Segmented Alumina ceramic wear-resistant bricks and linings are important components for wear and corrosion resistance in the industrial sector.
Segmented Alumina Ceramic Wear-Resistant Bricks
·Structural Features: The segmented design divides the wear-resistant brick into different sections based on the shape and size of the equipment, facilitating installation and adapting to complex surfaces. This design allows for a better fit to the equipment's interior walls, reducing gaps and wear spots, and improving overall wear resistance. For example, in pipe linings, segmented wear-resistant bricks can be customized based on the pipe's diameter and curvature, ensuring that each brick is tightly connected to form a continuous wear-resistant surface.
·Material Properties: The main component, alumina, typically contains no less than 92% alumina. Its density is ≥3.6g/cm³, Rockwell hardness ≥80HRA, compressive strength ≥850MPa, fracture toughness KIC ≥4.8MPa·m1/2, and flexural strength ≥290MPa. It features high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and lightweight. Its wear resistance is several or even dozens of times greater than that of manganese steel, effectively extending equipment life.
Specifications: Alumina content can be divided into different series, such as 92%, 95%, and 99%, with slight performance differences between series. Shapes include rectangular, trapezoidal, and special-shaped bricks, allowing selection based on specific usage scenarios and equipment requirements.
Composition and Structure: Alumina Ceramic Lining is a lining structure composed of multiple alumina ceramic wear-resistant bricks or sheets joined together using a specific bonding process or other connection methods. Different specifications and performances can be combined to achieve optimal wear resistance, tailored to the specific equipment locations and wear conditions. For example, in large hoppers, where the bottom and sides experience different levels of wear, thicker, more wear-resistant ceramic tiles can be used on the bottom, while thinner tiles can be used on the sides.
Performance Advantages: It offers excellent wear resistance and chemical stability, resisting corrosion from chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and salts, while maintaining stable performance even in high-temperature environments. Furthermore, the ceramic lining's smooth surface and low friction coefficient facilitate material conveying and reduce material adhesion and accumulation on the equipment's inner walls. ·Application scenarios: Widely used in material conveying equipment and liquid flow pipelines in coal, thermal power, steel, cement, mining, ports, chemical and other industries, such as coal pipes and coal hoppers in coal washing plants, coke hoppers in steel mills, transfer hoppers in mines, clinker, cement chutes and hoppers in cement plants, etc., which can effectively resist the abrasion of the inner wall of the equipment caused by the passing of materials and extend the service life of the equipment.
