Compared to ordinary steel pipes or solid Ceramic pipes, the performance characteristics of alumina wear-resistant Ceramic patch lined pipes are more suited to the needs of industrial wear-resistant applications:

1.Extreme Wear Resistance

Alumina ceramic patch lined pipes have a Rockwell hardness of up to HRA85-90 (Mohs hardness 9.0, second only to diamond), andtheir wear resistance is 20-30 times that of manganese steel and 5-8 times that of cast stone pipes. For example, when conveying pulverized coal in the thermal power industry, their service life can reach 8-12 times that of ordinary carbon steel pipes, with annual wear ≤0.3mm. 

2.Wide Temperature Range and Corrosion Resistance

3.High-Temperature Resistance: Conventional models can operate for extended periods from -60°C to 400°C. Models with special high-temperature adhesives can withstand temperatures exceeding 600°C (e.g., high-temperature slag conveying in the metallurgical industry).

Corrosion Resistance: Ceramics are neutral materials, resistant to corrosion by sulfuric acid (concentration ≤ 98%), hydrochloric acid (concentration ≤ 30%), strong alkalis (NaOH concentration ≤ 50%), and most industrial slurries. They can replace stainless steel pipes in chemical desulfurization slurry pipelines, extending their service life by more than five times.
